Join Nature Place trip leader Roger Dubin for fun, family-friendly excursions in Harriman State Park and other area locales!
Hit the trails with us and meet other outdoor-loving families, learn about local plants and animals, get in some good exercise in the fresh air, and enjoy your packed lunch with a beautiful view. We’ll provide you with further details, including meet-up location when you register.

The hike to Pine Swamp Mine is one of our favorites for its variety and uniqueness. In the heart of Harriman State Park, this hike features lakes, streams, swamps and an opportunity to visit an amazing abandoned mine!
April 22nd, 2023 | Earth Day Hike @ Ramapo Reservation Vista Loop
This loop passes through Hawk Rock Overlook, which has views of the New York City skyline, then continues to a beautiful MacMillan and further on to a waterfall!
