Rudolf Steiner’s great cultural impulse is full of potential for positive change in our individual lives and in the way all humanity thinks of its future. Can we move past the inward- or outward-looking impulses of the last century dominated in Anthroposophical Society by the inward, and in the specialized initiatives more and more by the outward? Going from either/or to both/and is a path of Michaelic service, and the conditions of today are offering a window of opportunity.
John Beck has spent a lifetime in communications and cultural activism, most recently as director of communications for the Anthroposophical Society in America.
