A PUBLIC COURSE WITH SEA-ANNA VASILAS AT EURYTHMY SPRING VALLEY
Mondays
October 17, 24, 31, and November 7, 2022
4:30 pm – 5:30 pm
The art of eurythmy can help to build a bridge between the world of the living and those who have crossed the threshold of death. Please join us for this four-week series in celebration of the All Soul’s Festival season, where we will deepen our relationship to the first word ever given for eurythmy, “Hallelujah,” and explore poetry and verses for those on the other side of the threshold.
Eurythmy is a health-giving, harmonizing, and life-sustaining art of movement that works through the whole human being. In making visible the invisible and inaudible experiences of speech and music, eurythmy serves as a bridge between spirit and matter. Through harmonious movement, we connect with the abundant life forces available within and around us, allowing for a rhythmic and breathing encounter with ourselves and the world.
Sea-Anna Vasilas is a graduate of Eurythmy Spring Valley, a member of the Eurythmy Spring Valley Ensemble, and part of the ESV faculty. She leads public eurythmy courses and workshops within the contexts of Biodynamic Agriculture, Biography and Social Art, The Christian Community Church, and The Anthroposophical Society in North America.
If the course fee is a hardship, please be in touch with Lily Lucero at info@eurythmy.org, or(845) 352-5020, ext. 113, prior to the first day of the course.
