ONLINE PRESENTATIONS BY EDWARD SCHULDT
Part 2: A Prayer for the Protection of Those in War
In Part 1 of this two-part presentation, we saw that protection in battle must be given from the side of the enemy. The Part 1 presentation can be viewed here. That presentation left many questions, among them:
- How can I intercede in people’s lives without knowing what lies within the destiny of the individuals I am protecting or giving protection from?
- Am I infringing upon the freedom and spiritual integrity of the people doing battle?
- How can I protect those in battle without being physically present and thereby potentially creating more chaos?
In this Part 2 talk, Edward Schuldt will present an example of the inner work that can be done to protect those engaged in battle. His work has resulted in “A Prayer for Protection during War” that can be adapted or rewritten by anyone seeking to protect those in conflict or adapted to contemplative or meditative material. Edward will also be speaking about the resistance to peace that this meditative or prayerful work can provoke.
Edward Schuldt is a writer living in St. Louis, focusing in both novels and non-fiction on the question: What spiritual significance does my life have? He spends time with his daughter, his two grandsons, and those high school friends who are still, fifty years later, able to make it to brunch. He is also engaged in the Singing Tree® Mural Project with the Unity through Creativity Foundation and is part of the team that will be conducting peace leadership training in California and Cyprus later this year.
